I THOUGHT A LOT BEFORE DECIDING, THEN I CHOSE THIS PIC WHICH, ACCORDING TO ME REPRESENTS WELL TODAY'S THEME. IT WAS TAKEN IN FRANCE ON A BEACH OF THE COTENTIN PENINSULA. WHAT YOU SEE ARE EMPTY MUSSELS AND OYSTERS. i USED MY OLYMPUS CAMEDIA TO SHOOT IT

A second [screen-size] copy would be helpful Nico?

As a dematerialist I adore emptinesses and Zen.
Kites and frisbees and line sculptures and mist.
It is a peaceful place emptyness and also what
happens in it (a bird's shadow maybe) becomes
more.

I like your shot of tidal rubbish and spoor, if you
had not clicked your shutter what else would
have ever seen?

Great post! A unique twist to the theme. I love your seagulls photo.

I would consider it a great kindness if you would size your photos smaller for Picture Perfect. Not everyone has a large screen. Many in PP view the entries on older computers.

That is a beautiful photo , I live near the beach also and watch the birds as they drop clams on the rocks here to crack them open and eat the clams !! The photo also on your page is just so breathtaking too :)
