I have a particular hobby, I love collecting things and I go scavenging Europe to find them out. Among the things I collect there are the enamelled French bottles and little glasses you see in my pic, but I am a collector of beer glasses too and I have got 300 of them.
This pic was taken using my Sony cyber-shot DSC-H9

The technology of glass making begin in ancient Rome and was popularized by Murano (Italy) in the 15th century. Only the patricians (rich) can possessed them and in 15th century it is well-guarded secret. Now a days we took them for granted. One who knows the secret (like world maps) is put to death for security reasons. Visit my website - aabel44nl.multiply.com
How beautiful ! ! ! They look priceless. The beer bottles are most likely interesting too, but could not be this pretty!!! Thank you so much for your visit to my PP ! Have a very nice weekend!!!
Beautiful collection - look at all the painted ones! I have lots of glass collections - Depression glass (2 sets of dinnerware my grandmother used), glass cruettes, used to have crystal and porcelain bells. Am always on the lookout for interesting bottles, especially the old cobalt blue apothecary ones. Lovely shot!! http://rifestitch.multiply.com/journal/item/120/Picture_Perfect_Friday_HOBBY
Oh WOW .. thats an awesome hobby!! You have some stunning pieces there!! Nice picture and nice post!! Thanks for visiting mine .... you are right ~ I love reflections, as long as they aren't mine!! ~grin~
O those are beautiful! I used to have one. I loved it. I kept it for a long time. Then my X threw a heavy box on it and snapped its frail stem off. I was heartbroken. Now you know why he is the X! ROFL What a beautiful hobby! Great PP.
Bottles are amazing. I had a collection long ago, but the ex got custody of it. You have some amazing ones, especially the painted one on the edge there. Beautiful colors.
Shiny! Shiny! Shiny! I love all things shiny! That is the reason that I collect art glass made from Mt. St. Helen's ash, though that is not the hobby I posted. Your shiny things are very, very nice! And so is the tune you chose!
