I have always lived by the sea, so Summer has always been linked to the fun of swimming, diving and snorkeling in the lukewarm waters of Ionian Sea, that's why I chose this pic which reminds me the hot summer afternoons of my youth when my friends and I went to the seaside and enjoyed ourselves very much.

This pic was shot a month ago in my town with my Sony cyber-shot DSC-H9 using a gradual filter to obtain a contrast . The pic hasn't been enhanced on Pc as I don't like retouching them.

Memories of holidays in Italy - yes. I spent two weeks in Sorrento and did not make it further south, but have many friends from this area and their photos always bring back such wonderful memories.

That is a wonderful shot - another incentive for me to visit your country some day!! Love the green water and the lovely garden with the aloes in the foreground!!! I can't imagine growing up somewhere that looks like that - can you tell I've always been landlocked? LOL

Wonderful shot. I love the many different colors of green from the plants to the sea. I find it very interesting how you have captured the waves. I can only imagine how your mind goes back in time each time you visit the sea and recall your childhood memories.

I always love your pictures my friend... The water over there is so beautiful.. Most of what I get here is a dirty, shallowest of the Great Lakes, meanest of them all, and can grow some aweful bacteria due to the fact it is so shallow... But, I still love being on it. I hope to someday make it to somewhere beautiful again....Your picture is so inspiring. Makes me want to go and sit and put my toes in right now. thanks for sharing and for stopping by mine.
